Id give zero, if I could. Let me give you all reading about this place- I would imagine hungry and considering to eat a review-Also, I would like to add some backround-context.
I have visited Greagle since I have been in diapers, my family; has been visiting since the early '80s, family owns property here as well.. Its a wonderful place- truly, almost everything is. With the exception of this dump. This place is a tourist trap and for people who dont know what real mexican food taste like-
in anycase I will divulge my experience.
I had booked reservations for my sisters birthday- my whole family was there, we were treated with wierd stares and actually forced to wait (in spite of their being half a restraunt to sit in, and ample staff on deck) guess they had prior reservations booked? Nah it was just as empty when we left.
-it took 10-20 mins to be sat (on a reservation that was made a day prior)
-I ordered some nasty NASTY chorizo enchiladas (they sounded good, and it read very well on the menu; it seemed apetizing)-
When I had recieved my food, the interior of my enchilada looked like someone gutted a gas station burrito, and warmed up a tortilla and threw it in there. It was only edible because I had a few drinks prior- taco bell have these guys beat. - that should tell one something.
Now, the next morning I woke up- with a full on fever, stomach full of preassure like a decomposing corpse, I have an iron stomach- not much unsettles it. It felt like tiny little gnomes were in my stomach throwing sulfuric acid all over it in an attempt to make a speedy escape-
This progressed for roughly two hours, until finally, my mouth began to salviate like that of a dog when he sees his favorite ball. The unfamiliar feeling of my stomach punching upward was than felt.
I threw up violently for about 10 minutes. My sink was coated with chunks of undigested chorizo and tortilla, I was wretching like my body was infested with demons and I was vomitting like my soul was in jeopardy. Needless to say- as soon as I 'excorsized' the previous nights dinner; the fever faded and my condition immediately improved.
Also- the patrons and hosts/hostesses alike all looked at us like we did not belong there- when in fact, I have been visiting since before they thought itd be trendy to move up there. DO NOT EAT HERE FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH (also, you wannabe locals need to get lost). sadly- this place will never go out of business- Greagle makes boats off of tourists, and that place makes $$$ off the unwitting patrons who stay in that little motel. BRING GUMBAS BACK!!!!

Our first experience was less than favorable we're staying in the river Pines Resort wanted to go in to dinner and we were told we can't be served because we didn't have reservations after we'd already been sitting there for almost 20 minutes The Waitresses excuse was that they were short-handed and they weren't going to serve anybody else. Simple recognition when we first came in and sat down would have been nice but to walk by a several times ignoring us was not only frustrating but it was rude. I don't feel that it's the customer's responsibility to suffer because of their poor management I doubt that will ever come back and try it again

    Worst hostess anyone could have.
Had a reservation, asked to sit outside, was told they were booked. We sat inside and watched 3 2top tables stay empty our entire meal.
The owner and manager better think about who takes your reservations and seats people
When confronted about it, gave some bs lie and walked away. No respect
